340 Million OnlyFans Records for Sale Online: Real or Fake?

Information has surfaced online about the alleged sale of a database that, according to the seller, contains approximately 340 million OnlyFans user records. However, there is currently no evidence that a new data breach has occurred within OnlyFans' infrastructure.

According to Hackread, an advertisement offering the database for sale appeared on a data breach forum. The seller claims it contains information about OnlyFans users and content creators, along with various account-related data.

At the same time, Cybernews reports that, according to the seller, the database may not be the result of a new attack on OnlyFans. Instead, it was allegedly compiled by combining data from previous breaches, publicly available sources, and other datasets. Researchers warn that, if these claims are accurate, such data could be used for user de-anonymization, phishing attacks, and other types of fraud.

OnlyFans stated that the reports of a new data breach are false and that the company has found no evidence that its systems were compromised. According to the platform, the database being circulated is not the result of a new OnlyFans data breach.
