People were invited to events under the guise of giveaways, gifts, and "free prizes," and were then pressured into purchasing expensive travel products.
According to a court decision involving "EMPERUM" LLP and "Lloyds group" LLP, the Tourism Industry Committee received 38 complaints in 2021–2022 and during the first four months of 2023 concerning the improper provision of tourism services.
The court granted the claim: "EMPERUM" LLP was removed from the register, and the license of "Lloyds group" LLP was revoked.
Similar schemes may continue under different names, so it is important to verify the company, its documents, and the contract terms before making any payment.
