Consumer Cooperative | What should R.O.I. victims do?
If you invested money in R.O.I. or its affiliated cooperatives (ShynSaulet, Berekeli Shanyrak, Aya-Aru, Jasmin, USCoop, Baiterek), file a formal complaint with the Financial Monitoring Agency's (AFM) Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty.
This is necessary for authorities to determine whether you can be officially recognized as a victim in the criminal case.
Attach your contract, proof of money transfers, and correspondence with cooperative representatives to your complaint.
⚖️ The AFM has reported the following investigation findings:
🔴 275 identified victims;
🔴 KZT 217 million in damages;
🔴 KZT 94 million transferred out of the cooperative;
🔴 25 apartments and 3 vehicles seized.
The organizer is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
We have repeatedly warned about the risks associated with R.O.I., including as early as December 13.
