Loan issues | New rules against multiple loan applications

Kazakhstan is strengthening measures against fraudulent loan applications.

If a person submits more than two loan applications within one hour, the information is automatically forwarded to the anti-fraud center for review.

If a fraud risk is detected, the application may be suspended or referred for manual verification.

Biometric identification and the issuance of digital signatures must be carried out only in the person's physical presence in order to prevent loans from being remotely issued in someone else's name.
