A former employee of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market has been named in a criminal case involving fraudulent loans issued in the names of low-income citizens in Kazakhstan.
According to information presented at a briefing, charges have been brought against an organized group of 25 individuals, including employees of four major banks. According to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Akmola Region, the estimated damage amounts to approximately 3.7 billion tenge.
