STOP MFI | Information for victims of criminal actions by MFIs

Citizens are entitled not to pay interest on loans issued by "Aktiv Market" and "Aktiv Lombard".

The FMA is investigating more than 17 criminal cases involving the entrapment of people in debt bondage.

In all of these "MFIs", loans were issued at inflated interest rates in violation of National Bank regulations. "Aktiv Market" operated without a licence altogether.

"These amounts are not subject to payment. Citizens may file a complaint with the FMA or apply to the court to have the agreements declared invalid," Yelemesov emphasized.
