In all of these "MFIs", loans were issued at inflated interest rates in violation of National Bank regulations. "Aktiv Market" operated without a licence altogether.
"These amounts are not subject to payment. Citizens may file a complaint with the FMA or apply to the court to have the agreements declared invalid," Yelemesov emphasized.
