Scammers pose as representatives of government agencies.

Advertisements have appeared on social media and messaging apps offering to "recover" money spent on ineffective supplements and medicines, supposedly on behalf of the Department of Economic Investigations.

In reality, this is a scam similar to fake lawyer schemes: fraudsters promise to return your money, but first demand payment of a "tax", a "commission" or other fees.

Do not trust such offers.
