EXPERT PARTNERSHIP FOR TRAINING FUTURE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

The Public Foundation “Financial Culture of Kazakhstan” and the B. Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed a cooperation memorandum aimed at advancing educational, scientific, and practical activities in countering modern financial threats.

The memorandum was signed as part of the Year of Improving the Quality of Departmental Education in Law Enforcement Agencies and marks another important step in strengthening cooperation between the academic community and financial security experts.

The document establishes a long-term partnership focused on educational, scientific, and public awareness initiatives. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing practical competencies in cybersecurity, digital forensics, financial literacy, digital hygiene, and online fraud prevention among future law enforcement professionals.

The partnership includes joint lectures, seminars, workshops, master classes, research activities, and other educational initiatives involving the Academy’s faculty members and experts from the Financial Culture of Kazakhstan Public Foundation. The parties will also exchange educational and methodological materials and implement joint public awareness projects.

Following the signing ceremony, the Head of the Financial Culture of Kazakhstan Public Foundation, Yuriy Lee, delivered a lecture to the Academy’s faculty members and cadets, presenting unique real-world case studies on identifying modern financial fraud schemes based on investigations and analytical work carried out by the Stop-Piramida.kz project.

The partnership will combine the academic potential of the B. Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Foundation’s practical expertise to prepare specialists capable of effectively combating modern financial crime and protecting citizens from fraudulent schemes.

During the Year of Enhancing the Quality of Departmental Education in Law Enforcement Agencies, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the B. Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Financial Culture of Kazakhstan Public Foundation.

Following the signing of the memorandum, the Foundation's Director, Yuri Li, shared unique practical case studies with the Academy's faculty members and students on identifying current financial fraud schemes.
