Seminar "Countering Financial Fraud" for employees of NAC Kazatomprom JSC
As part of the Fingramota.kz project, a seminar entitled "Countering Financial Fraud" was held in Astana for employees of NAC Kazatomprom JSC and its subsidiaries.
Participants reviewed common fraud schemes, methods for identifying them and ways to protect themselves. Attendees included employees of Semizbay-U LLP, KAP Technology LLP, JV KATCO LLP and other companies.
Speakers, including representatives of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, as well as the Stop-Piramida.kz and Alayaq.net projects, discussed common types of fraud, including scams involving artificial intelligence and other modern technologies. They also shared practical safety recommendations and answered participants’ questions.
The seminar, organised by Kazatomprom under a memorandum of cooperation with the financial regulator, provided a platform for sharing experience and improving the financial literacy of all participants.
