Investment scams | Deepfake of the Chair of Kazakhstan’s Financial Market Regulatory Agency used in “Kaspi AI” scam advertising

Advertisements for a pseudo-investment project are being circulated on social media using a deepfake of Madina Abylkassymova, Chair of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.

Users are promised easy earnings in order to gain their trust and encourage them to transfer money. Always verify such information carefully. Scammers unlawfully use the images of public officials and well-known individuals to create a false impression of legitimacy.
