A fake advertisement using a deepfake is once again being circulated on social media. In the video, the image of the President of Kazakhstan is used to promote a supposed opportunity to earn up to 400,000 tenge per day with little effort.

Such videos are created using AI: the person on screen appears to say things they never actually said. Scammers use deepfakes to build trust in fake investment schemes, fraudulent websites, and promises of quick profits.

This article serves as a reminder to verify the source, check information only through official accounts and trusted media outlets, avoid clicking suspicious links, and never send money for a “limited-time opportunity”.
